This is the first quintuple weight that John made for us and it has proved extremely popular.

A chequerboard weight featuring one of each of John's silhouettes together with pansy, heart and arrow canes and Clichy-style roses. The design is completed with a filigree torsade.

This beautiful deep pink carpet ground weight features a selection of John's complex canes which include a heart, a pansy and John's signature thistle.
As in the "Bunch of Flowers" weight the canes have been drawn under and John's 2008 cane is set into the base of the weight.

The Deacons’ studio has been very active recently, and John’s talented son Craig has been more and more involved on the design side. Craig calls his latest creation the “Wagon Wheel” and it really shows off the craftmanship of the studio.
As you can see, not only are there some excellent complex canes, not to mention the silhouettes in the centre, but there’s also 2 of the torsades that John has become well-known for. This magnum weight also features pansy and Clichy-style rose canes. Overall we think this is one of the nicest millefiori weights we’ve ever seen. In fact we’ve immediately ordered some more!

This lovely weight features a range of complex canes as well as an example of each of John's silhouettes. Being set in the grid allows each cane to be seen clearly and thus appreciated for the skill involved in making them. These are garlanded with John's filigree torsade, whilst John's cane is in the base.

This very pretty weight was made at the request of a customer. It contains a lovely selection of John's complex canes including Clichy-style roses in a variety of colours, pansy and arrow canes, as well as all of John's silhouettes. John's signature cane is in the base.

We saw a prototype of this weight when we visited John's studio in September and immediately ordered one. It has a lovely selection of John's complex canes together with his silhouettes. The outer garland of canes are drawn under to form a basket.

When John described this weight to us on the phone we knew it was going to be something special, but we were still stunned when we opened the parcel and saw it.
A closepack selection of John's complex canes and silhouettes rest on a dark blue cushion. This is then encased and surrounded by the stunning design which surrounds it like petals around a bud. It's then encased once more in clear glass.
What was even more amazing was when John told us the price!

John has been planning on making marbles for some time and in our last order we were thrilled to receive this beautiful orb, complete with its own bespoke glass stand.
It's packed with coloured and filigree latticinio twists as well as lots of Clichy-style roses, at least 2 of John's thistle canes and also his JD 2008 cane.
